Zühre Güven is an Environmental Finance Programme Associate based in UNDP's Istanbul Regional Hub. She facilitates the effective delivery of the GEF and GCF (Small Grants Programme/Integrated Strategies and Energy, Infrastructure, Transport and Technology (EITT)) portfolio in the Europe and Central Asia, and the Arab States regions by providing support and oversight throughout the development, implementation, monitoring/evaluation and closure of Environmental Finance projects. Zuhre first joined UNDP in 2017 as a Project Associate to support the operational and programmatic management of the four UNDP implemented GEF-funded regional and global projects. Before joining UNDP, she worked as an HR Specialist in TRT World and as an Information Assistant at the Embassy of Brunei Darussalam in Turkey. Zühre holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from International Islamic University of Malaysia.
