Elizabeth Eggerts

Elizabeth is a Gender Specialist  in the Climate and Forests pillar of UNDP’s Climate Hub, with over 15 years’ experience working in the social and environmental policy sectors. Before starting her current role in 2014, she worked as a gender and climate finance consultant for UNDP’s Gender Team. She previously has also worked in the private sector conducting environmental and social impact assessments and at the grassroots level, helping empower and build capacities of women to overcome homelessness. She holds a Master’s Degree in Sustainable International Development from Brandeis University in Boston, USA. She loves spending time with her family and friends, being outdoors and reading a good book.
