Abdullah provides technical, strategic, oversight and coordination support for Climate Promise initiatives across multiple countries in the Arab States region. Abdullah hails from Bangladesh and brings 16 years of work experience in the field of climate change adaptation and biodiversity conservation, mostly with UNDP, UNCDF and the government of Bangladesh. He obtained his Master of Philosophy degree in Conservation Leadership from the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom, as a Commonwealth Scholar. He also took part in the Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Programme and studied natural resource management at Cornell University in the United States.
