Benjamin works as a regional climate specialist for countries in the Arab States region and provides technical and strategic support in the formulation, implementation, and oversight of activities linked to Nationally Determined Contributions. He brings experience from the private sector, academia, and multiple United Nations agencies, including UNDP and UNEP. Benjamin holds a Master’s degree in Sustainable Energy Technology and Climate Policy from the Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden and a Bachelor’s degree in Energy and Environmental Engineering from the same university. His overarching interest is to bridge the science-policy gap in the field of climate change by providing policymakers at all levels with the information needed to make informed decisions.
