Charles (Chongguang) Yu currently serves as a Climate Finance and Investment Specialist at UNDP. He supports countries in Asia and Africa by leading the design and appraisal of climate and environmental action projects, with a particular focus on mobilizing investments from financial institutions and the private sector. In addition to his role in climate finance, Charles also spearheads the UNDP Adaptation Innovation Marketplace, a multi-partner global platform that supports locally-led action for climate change. Charles has a background in investment and corporate finance and has worked as a Senior Associate at National Australia Bank. He holds a Master’s degree in Engineering from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology and a dual Bachelor's degree in Engineering and Commerce from the University of Melbourne.
