Leticia Guimarães

Leticia is UNDP’s global team leader for carbon markets, responsible for supporting developing countries’ access to carbon markets for the implementation of their climate targets. She has 18 years of experience as a senior technical advisor, policy analyst and project manager structuring performance-based finance mechanisms that incentivize climate change mitigation in developing countries. She has an MPP in Environmental Policy and Ecological Economics from the University of Maryland in the US and MSc in Environmental Technology from the Federal University of Minas Gerais in Brazil. She is also a member of UNFCCC roster of technical experts.
