With 13 year's experience in climate finance and policy – with a focus on adaptation – Claudia provides strategic advice to ensure coherence between UNDP's support on climate finance readiness, including the Climate Promise and programming for adaptation and mitigation. She also provides oversight to the GEF-funded National Communications/Biennial Update Report/Transparency portfolio. Previously, she worked as technical advisor on adaptation in the Asia-Pacific and Latin America regions, supporting more than 20 countries to advance their targets by accessing finance from the Global Environment Facility, Green Climate Fund and Adaptation Fund, and led the global GCF Readiness programme, funded by BMU, jointly implemented with UN Environment in nine countries.
