NDC Status

The Central African Republic submitted its updated NDC in January 2022.

The NDC review process ended in October 2021 with the organization of the Great March for Climate in Bangui and the official delivery of the updated NDC to the President of the Republic on October 15. The Central African Republic presented the updated NDC at COP26 in November 2021 and submitted it to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). A communication strategy has been developed to support the implementation of the NDC.
