Annlyn provides technical support to countries on the formulation, enhancement, and implementation of their Nationally Determined Contributions. With extensive experience in climate adaptation and mitigation measures, having worked in the field since 2009 directly with small island developing states, she provides niche support to Caribbean countries as they work on revising and enhancing their NDCs. Prior to UNDP, she worked as a technical advisor on climate and sustainable development with the Alliance of Small Island Developing States (AOSIS) in New York; as a marine protected areas manager with the Government of Grenada; as well as a sustainable development consultant with the Organisation of American States in Washington DC and UNDESA, New York. Annlyn holds a Bachelor's degree in Marine Science from the National Autonomous University of Mexico and a Master's of Public Administration in Environmental Science and Policy from Columbia University.
