Excellent is a development expert and specialist in climate science and policy, natural resources management, nature-based solutions, disaster risk management, resilience-building, and GHG inventory development and reviews. He is particularly interested in assisting communities to respond to risks sustainably and effectively. His passion is in exploring broad and evidence-based solutions to multi-dimensional poverty, societal inequity, and climate vulnerability, as well as building gender-responsive resilience and supporting inclusive structural transformation towards sustainable development.
