Marie-Claire Angwa started to work in UNDP New York in 1998 in the Energy and Environment Group (EEG). Her work has focused on the environment, climate change, disaster risk reduction, knowledge management, gender, youth, innovation, indigenous people and people with disabilities. She then moved to the Regional Service Center for Africa in Ethiopia as Programme Analyst Climate Change, where she is also Climate Promise country Coordinator for some Francophone countries, UNDP focal point for the Regional Coordination Mechanism, which supports the African Union Mandate, and focal point for the People for 2030. Marie-Claire speaks English, French and Spanish.
