James is a Climate and Cities Technical Specialist working jointly with both UNDP and UN-Habitat in support of the inter-Agency enhanced collaborative framework. James contributes to the Climate Promise and NDC Support Programme global management teams, specializing in urban and local and regional climate issues, institutional strengthening and capacity building, largely in relation to Nationally Determined Contributions. Previously, James worked with UNEP with a focus on carbon market development and clean energy project support in sub-Saharan Africa, and carries a decade of experience as an environmental engineer in the private sector.
