Moussa is the coordinator of the Francophone Transparency Cluster under the Belgium-funded “Enhancing Climate Transparency” project under the Climate Promise.
Moussa brings over eight years of experience on climate finance, MRV systems, mitigation and GHG inventories. He possesses ample regional experience, having supported the development GHG inventories for the National Communications in Djibouti, Algeria, Senegal and Republic of Congo. Prior to joining UNDP, Moussa worked for ENDA Energie Senegal as energy efficiency expert and project coordinator, conducting feasibility studies for renewable (solar) energy schemes in Senegal and abroad. Prior to this, he worked for Climate CHECK (Canada) as coordinator of the Francophone countries of West Africa in the implementation of MRV systems at regional and local levels.
Moussa holds a Master’s Degree from the Institut Supérieure d'Entrepreneurship et de Gestion (ISEG). He is based in Senegal.
