Florin is the Climate Promise regional communications specialist for Eurasia and the Arab States. Florin has more than seven years of experience in digital communications and social innovation. Previously he managed the regional communications of a joint UN Women and UNFPA programme in the Eastern Partnership and led the advocacy and communications work of the Gender Equality Team at the UNDP Istanbul Regional Hub. Florin is passionate about social change. He cares deeply about environmental issues and is committed to help mobilize people and resources towards immediate climate action.
Florin holds a Master’s degree in Gender Studies from Central European University and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the National University of Political and Administrative Studies in his home country, Romania.
