Srilata Kammila is the Head for Climate Change Adaptation at UNDP. She is responsible for the strategic leadership and management of projects and programmes valued at over US$1 billion. Srilata also oversees support to countries on mainstreaming climate change adaptation into national and local planning and budgeting. Srilata has broad expertise in climate-resilient technologies and practices, resilient livelihoods and value-chains, energy access and renewables, and climate finance. Prior to joining UNDP, Srilata worked at the World Bank and managed several programmes to deploy low-emission technologies and enable energy access in Africa, Asia and Small Island Developing States. Srilata holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from University of Alberta, Canada and a joint Master’s degree in Business Administration from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Master’s degree in Public Administration from Harvard University, United States of America.
