Thailand submitted its second updated NDC in November 2022.

Key highlights from the NDC
  • In their second updated NDC, Thailand increased its greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction target from 20% to 30% by 2030 compared to the business-as-usual scenario.
  • It also increased its conditional target from 25% to 40%. 
  • Thailand confirms its efforts to meet the long-term goal of carbon neutrality by 2050, and net-zero GHG emissions by 2065.  
  • The adaptation components remain the same as the first updated NDC.
